Warm meals only when you feel like it. Unbelievable .. you come around 2 p.m. and want to eat the Vesper menu, hungry from a bike tour, but the kitchen is not in the mood because the lunch business is just over and it was stressful ... We had the best onion pie in the region at 2.30 p.m. (Fresh out of the oven, we had time) At lunchtime there was already a lot going on, of course the kitchen has a lot to do, of course. It can certainly happen that dishes and salads have to be made again. Waiting for the onion cake was worth it, there is also enough wine in Oberrotweil. In the evening we went to the bear with friends. Very friendly hosts, great service. I'm sure I'll dream of the beef cheek tonight. My wife had the Angus steak which was fried very well. We were all satisfied, keep it up, we'll be back on Friday and look forward to it. Many thanks

Worst inn in the Kaiserstuhl, the landlady something of a neglected. Hair not washed. Price performance under all sow. This is not how gastronomy works.

Authentic and warm place in the heart of Kaiserstuhl. The food is delicious and the portions are very large. The rooms are clean and cute. The bell from the church didn't bother me at all. On the contrary, there is an authentic one note about the place and an opportunity to experience the true, daily, idyllic village life. Definitely worth a visit! My food was okay. However, I got old bread for that. I think that's a pity. The court was too expensive for that. The service was quite good.

We were with a larger group three days at the Hotel Bären, which served us as a base camp for our bike tours on Kaiserstuhl. The hosts were very nice and uncomplicated and the food was great. Thanks again to the whole Bear team of the Bike Team wheel loader!

For me, this restaurant is on the way for professional reasons! I have been there regularly lately! Actually, the quality is very good, if relatively expensive! Today I had charred roast potatoes and I expect - if I communicate this in a very friendly way also a friendly apology! Had I got these, I would not rate that!
